Taia's 2nd Dance Class

Today was Taia's 2nd Dance Class! We didn't know that they were allowing parents in the class to watch this week so Dean missed it! He is really bummed!! She did a great job and was absolutely adorable!!! Hopefully her dance uniform and ballet slippers will be in next week! Poor girl bit the dust once today!!

birthday party at Chick Fil A on Tuesday!

Taia started dance classes on Monday! She LOVED it!! She keeps asking to go back!
Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa for her leotard! She will need it until her uniform (yup- there's a uniform! LOL) comes in! Everyone loved it!

And today, she is making the most of the rainy day! As I'm typing this I am being force-fed fake donuts and imaginary tea! ;)

We went to Chuck E Cheese with Abby and Libby last Tuesday and had a great time!

Taia is doing great at riding her bike! It's harder at our house because there are no flat areas here! But we went to the park to let her ride yesterday and she did a wonderful job!!

They were so adorable driving around the yard! Taia toted her "little purse" on her shoulder the entire time! They are too funny!

Taia had some friends over today for a playdate! We had a great time! Unfortunately, I forgot to break out the camera until after Abby and Libby left! ; (

Hollywood Connection

We went to Hollywood Connection on Saturday and Taia had a great time! She even climbed around in the play area following some older kids for a while.

Here's a video of Taia and her friends on the news while we waited in line for almost an hour to sign up for swim lessons! Thanks to my awesome friend, Jennifer Ricker (lots of her in the newscast!) we were 2nd in line! And somehow, I think I STILL managed to sign up for the wrong class! LMAO!

April 30 was a fun day!

We had a great day today!! Thanks to our great friend Jennifer, we discovered the Harris County libraries!! We went to 2 storytimes! They are amazing!! They provide great snacks and crafts and are just wonderful!! Thank you Jennifer and Abby for taking us!

Laura and Liam came over and brought us dinner and then we all went with Jennifer and Abby to the pajama night story time in Hamilton! We had a GREAT time! I don't know who's going to feed me when you move Laura! LOL

They love this car!! And they are happy standing still jamming out to the radio!

Taia had SUCH a busy and fun birthday!!

Her birthday was the same day as the "Donuts With Dad" breakfast at school!! Dean was able to be home for most of her birthday. He flew to Texas in the evening.We were so glad that he was able to be home! Donuts With Dad was at 9am. Then at 11:45 I took cupcakes, balloons and party favors to her class and we had a little party. The kids all had a great time! When we left the school, we went to Toys R Us and she got another balloon and picked out her birthday present from her Nanny and Opa (Dean's grandparents.) They sent her money so she could do her own shopping! She picked a "My Little Pony" that crawls across the floor!! Then we went to Chuck E Cheese with daddy, Laura and Liam and had a great time! After that we went to Dairy Queen and Laura and Liam treated us to birthday ice cream!! It was a very eventful day and we had a BLAST!!!

Thank you to everyone who sent cards and presents and/or came to her birthday party on Saturday! We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family! Our house looked like Christmas morning until today! I finally re-organized the playroom and moved toys that she has outgrown into the garage! It's so sad when we have to move out her toys!! But we have to make room for the new stuff!!
